ESAB achieves certification

ESAB, the world leading manufacturer and supplier of welding and cutting equipment, has achieved certification of its Environmental and Occupational, Health & Safety Management System. Certification was granted by Det Norske Veritas, which is universally recognised as the leading global certification body.

The system covers all ESAB employees and activities worldwide and ESAB is believed to be the first global company in any business to achieve this level of management control for both environmental and health & safety. Thousands of companies have achieved ISO 14001 and/or OHSAS 18001 certification somewhere, but ESAB is the only global company to have achieved both throughout the world.
